Berenice Garcia-Melgosa

Bree was born in Castro Valley CA, but has lived in Oakland her whole life. She attended OUSD schools from 2 grade – 12 grade. Her passion for helping students began in high school when she experienced firsthand the struggles that teachers and students faced in Oakland. In high school, she joined after-school programs to help middle school students in nearby OUSD schools and continued throughout University.

Bree Graduated from San Francisco State University with a BA in Labor and Employment Studies with a Minor in Women’s Health.

Outside of work, Bree enjoys reading books, going on hikes, and building legos.
