Daisy Romo

Daisy was born and raised in Oakland. She’s a first generation college student and graduated from Sacramento State with a Bachelor’s degree in History and a minor in Philosophy.

Daisy graduated from OUSD in 2015. Since then her goal has been to return to Oakland to give back to her community. After graduating from Sacramento state Daisy has been working in the nonprofit world supporting the community in various ways, working with both youth and adults. She is excited to join the Oakland Public Education Fund and serve her Oakland community and OUSD.

When Daisy isn’t in the office she loves spending time outdoors with her two dogs and her family. She also enjoys cooking, gardening and playing video games. Aside from caring for her two dogs and two cats, Daisy also feeds her neighborhood’s stray cats every night.
